To all my friends around the world:

This space is for you and I.
An intimate place to ponder the curiosities of our lives and reveal the feelings that wrap our hearts like wild vines. Let’s push aside the trivial and get to know each other. Listen! This humble space is the door upon which I will knock. Open it.
Yours faithfully and with all sympathy,

3/4/2015 – “My Sirens” – An Old Song Never Loses its Meaning

The value of a good songs message (or one you find meaningful) never fades. “My Sirens” was written as part of my first book, Reflexive Conversations . This is the song which is sung by the main character as he drifts past the Sirens on his way to purgatory. I came across it the other day and found myself amazed that I can still find meaning and applicability in something written 10 years ago. While the context of the song’s application in my life may have changed, its underlying message has not. Life is a constant searching for the truth within ourselves. That truth, I believe, is most honestly revealed in the discovery of love. Can one be in love and not live in truth? I don’t believe so – for when you truly find love, peace will follow and the searching of your heart will cease, and continue only in the searching of your lover’s eyes.

 My Sirens

“….I’ve been lost for a long long time

Searching all the seas

For a place that’s pure and rich with cures

for all the things I don’t need……”
